• Strategic Noise Mapping — EU Environmental Noise Directive and CNOSSOS-EU methodology, population exposure statistics, and action plan reporting.
• Aircraft Noise Modeling — ECAC Doc.29 and FAA INM for airport noise contour work.

Occupational Noise Training (SoundPLANmanda)

• SoundPLANmanda Fundamentals — 1-day course covering facility model setup, noise source entry, noise map generation, worker exposure calculation (LEX,8h), hearing protection zone mapping, and compliance report generation.
• Industrial Hygiene Applications — Applying SoundPLANmanda for ISO 9612, EU Directive 2003/10/EC, OSHA, and regional regulations.

Prerequisites and Preparation

For beginner SoundPLANnoise courses, no prior noise modeling experience is required — but basic familiarity with noise assessment concepts (what noise levels mean, how sound propagates, what an EIA is) will help you get more from the course. For occupational noise training, basic knowledge of ISO 9612 or prior experience with dosimeter noise surveys is recommended. For advanced courses, completion of the relevant fundamentals course is required.
